HYDRA Elite Dual Monitor Arm
Overview
The HYDRA2HDGB is a dual gas hydraulic monitor arm built for workspaces that need the flexibility of two screens without compromise. Its sealed nitrogen gas cylinders counterbalance each display with virtually zero resistance — raise, lower, tilt, or swing either monitor with one finger and it holds exactly where you leave it, with no re-tensioning required over time. The arm supports side-by-side and vertical stacked configurations, giving you full control over how your two screens are arranged. The clamp mounts entirely from above the desk, making installation straightforward for corner desks, wall-adjacent setups, and single-person installs. A quick-release VESA plate on each arm lets you detach and reattach monitors without tools, and built-in cable management keeps the workspace tidy. Compatible with flat and curved monitors from 17″ to 49″ and up to 20 kg per screen.

Feature Detail
Dual Configuration Support
The HYDRA2HDGB is designed to support multiple physical arrangements of two monitors from a single pole mount. In side-by-side mode both arms extend horizontally, placing screens at the same height — the most common dual monitor layout for general work and wide application windows. In vertical stack mode one arm positions above the other, ideal for reference documents, code, or any workflow where you want a primary screen at eye level with a secondary screen above or below. Both configurations are achieved by adjusting the arm positions on the pole, with no additional parts or tools required.
Gas Hydraulic Arm
A gas hydraulic arm uses a sealed nitrogen gas cylinder as a precision counterbalance — the same core technology found in medical examination tables, aerospace hatches, and premium automotive hoods. The result is one-finger repositioning with virtually no resistance: raise, lower, tilt, or swing your monitor and it holds exactly where you leave it. Once set up for your display, the cylinder requires zero maintenance — no re-tensioning, no adjustments, no change in feel over time. It’s the right choice for users who reposition frequently, share a workstation, or simply want a premium adjustment experience that’s completely effortless.
Top-Mount Install
The clamp is designed to mount entirely from above the desk — no crouching, no moving equipment, no reaching blindly under your workspace to tighten bolts. The clamp is engineered so that every connection point, including final tensioning, is accessible from the top. That makes it a practical choice for corner desks, wall-adjacent setups, and anyone with limited mobility who needs full access to the mount without getting under the desk. It also means the entire installation can be completed by one person, without a second set of hands to manage anything underneath.
Quick-Release Plate (with thumbscrew)
The included VESA compatible quick-release plate locks securely onto the arm and detaches with a single motion — no tools, no loose hardware. The plate uses a thumbscrew mechanism that holds your monitor during use but releases when you need to move it without tools. That makes it a practical solution for shared workstations, multi-monitor configurations, or any setup where screens need to relocate frequently. It also simplifies the process of swapping monitors entirely — detach, swap, and reattach without having to readjust the arm. The plate is designed to work without interfering with the arm's cable routing, so cables can be unplugged and kept nearby during a swap and reconnected immediately on reattachment.
Two Mounting Options
This mount ships with both a desk clamp and a grommet base included — no choosing at checkout, no separate accessory purchases. The desk clamp accommodates surfaces from 12 to 45 mm thick and installs without any modification to your desk, making it the straightforward choice for most setups. The grommet base routes through an existing desk hole, eliminating the clamp profile entirely for a flush, low-profile installation that keeps the focus on the monitors rather than the mount. Having both options in the box means the right fit for your desk is already accounted for, regardless of your workspace configuration.
